Venue

 

Chipperfield Theatre Group perform at the Chipperfield Village Hall which is also used for most of our rehearsals. Recently refurbished, the Chipperfield Village Hall measures about 17 x 7 metres and has a maximum capacity of 130 people. It has a conventional (if somewhat small) proscenium arch stage plus facilities for theatre lighting, sound and show management. A well-equipped and modern kitchen and other spaces for rehearsal, props, costume and set make it an ideal venue. Front-of-house facilities include a bar and disabled toilet. Access is entirely on a single ground-floor level.

Directions

 

Chipperfield is a rural village and is served by a variety of minor roads. These directions are the simplest and use the best roads available:

​

Exit the M25 at Junction 20.
At the roundabout take the A4251 to Kings Langley.
After 1 mile, turn left into Vicarage Lane.
(just passed The Langley Butcher and The Lunch Box which are on your left).
Stay on Vicarage Lane for 2 miles.
(Vicarage Lane becomes Chipperfield Road, Langley Road and Chapel Croft).
Turn Left at the cross roads into The Street.
(at the KIA Garage, which is on your right).
After a ¼ mile turn right into The Common.
Chipperfield Village Hall is about 100 yards on the right.
(just passed the Two Brewers Pub)
The hall is set back from the road and not immediately visible.

Parking

 

Very limited parking is available on the right (just past the Two Brewers) and a larger car park is to your left. Street parking is also available. During busy periods parking space can be difficult to find.
